Living room

A window instead of a television

A glazed wall opens the living room onto the meadow — mist over the grass in the morning, sunset behind the treeline in the evening. Overhead a timber beamed ceiling, a fireplace in the corner, and room around it for the whole group.

  • A fireplace and seating for more than a dozen people
  • A long table that seats the entire group at once
  • Direct access to the terrace and the grass

Kitchen

The island everyone gathers around

A fully equipped kitchen with two work areas and an island topped in wood. It handles breakfast for fourteen just as well as it serves as back-of-house for a catering team during a larger reception.

Ground floor

The main bedroom and a twin room

The main bedroom opens straight onto the terrace and has its own bathroom with a tub against a brick wall. Next to it, a room with two single beds, served by a bathroom off the corridor.

Upstairs

Four bedrooms and two bathrooms

White rooms under the eaves, roof windows and a view into the treetops. Two bedrooms share one bathroom off the corridor — both bathrooms have a tub and a shower.

Around the house

Terrace, hammocks and meadow without end

Decking charred black, a long table under the eaves, hammocks strung between the trees and grass running all the way to the treeline. A fire in the evening, and at night a sky you never see in the city.

  • A covered terrace with a long table
  • A chillout area with hammocks and garlands
  • A wood-fired sauna with a brick stove and timber benches
  • A fire pit and space for children to run
  • Free parking on the grounds
